Instrumentation & Control Engineer
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
As Consultant, ensuring contractor compliance with approved drawings, method statements, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Review and approve I&C-related shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, ITPs, and commissioning procedures.
FAT, SAT, loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities for PLC, SCADA, RTU, telemetry, and field instrumentation systems.
Monitor contractor progress, identify technical issues, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines to ensure successful system integration.
Review inspection reports, calibration certificates, testing records, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and commissioning documentation.
Participate in site inspections, progress meetings, and technical coordination meetings with clients and contractors.
Prepare progress reports and provide technical support to the Resident Engineer and Project Manager.
Ensure successful commissioning, performance testing, and final acceptance of I&C systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Qualification:
B.E. Instrumentation & Control
10 - 15 years
Experience on Siemens, Rockwell Automation, PLC and Emerson DCS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc.), is must.
Experience on WWTP / STP Middle East region project.
Knowledge of International standards like ISA, BS, IEC, NEMA
Good Communication skills, Presentation Skills, Learning Attitude, good grasping power and should be a good team member.
